The Norwood NC Museum showcases the rich history of our town and its people. The museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the Norwood area for our children and future generations.
The vision of a museum in Norwood was seen through the eyes of Mr. Larry McMahon and his late wife, Carolyn. They worked tirelessly to gather information and items to put on display. ( Mr. McMahon is pictured to the right)
One section is dedicated to the Military with a display of the "boys" that lost there life during WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
The museum is located in the building that housed the Town Hall and Police Department on the corner of Pee Dee and Campbell.
